How does HOMEBODY differ from a traditional interior design firm?
At HOMEBODY, we specialize in hard finishes - i.e., those permanent pieces of your home's construction, such as countertops, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, hardware and flooring. We’re the people that you call when you’re renovating your kitchen, not when your living room needs a refresh.
How does HOMEBODY's design process work?
We will first communicate via email or over the phone to discuss your project. If it seems as though HOMEBODY may be a fit for your project, we will email over a proposal for your review and approval. After the proposal is approved, HOMEBODY will email you a questionnaire and begin creating mood boards based upon your responses. Once you have approved the direction of the mood boards, HOMEBODY will complete the selections for your home. The project is completed when HOMEBODY delivers the final design for your implementation.
What if I don't like my final design? Will HOMEBODY redo it?
This unlikely scenario will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, and revisions will typically be charged at HOMEBODY's hourly rate.
What does HOMEBODY charge for its services?
The majority of HOMEBODY's services are provided on a flat-fee basis, dependent upon the scope of the project. This flat-fee structure ensures that you are fully aware of your investment from the outset and there are no financial "surprises" as the project is completed.
Are site visits or in person meetings included in HOMEBODY's fees?
HOMEBODY's services are intended to be fully virtual - however, site visits and/or in person meetings may occasionally be added at our hourly rate.
I don't live in Dallas - can I still work with HOMEBODY?
Absolutely! One of the great things about HOMEBODY's services is that we are able to operate remotely, making our selections based upon your architectural plans and photos.
I don't have architectural plans - can I still work with HOMEBODY?
Probably! Get in touch and we'll talk through your project.
I'm just tweaking a few spaces in my house, not doing a huge renovation - can I still work with HOMEBODY?
Yes! There is no project too big or too small.
Does HOMEBODY offer project management services?
We do not. HOMEBODY is a branch of Haynsworth Custom Homes, a builder in Dallas, Texas. If you are interested in building services, please get in touch with HCH. Otherwise, HOMEBODY's deliverables are intended to be implemented by you or your contractor.
I've already started my project and I'm feeling overwhelmed - is it too late to work with HOMEBODY?

I don't need someone to make selections for me, but I'd love to be able to bounce ideas off of someone, or maybe ask for advice - can HOMEBODY do that?
Definitely! Sometimes another set of eyes and ears is all that's needed, and HOMEBODY is happy to help.
How do I purchase the products that HOMEBODY selects?
You will receive shoppable links to every product HOMEBODY selects for your project. Either you or your contractor may purchase these items directly through the retailer. HOMEBODY does not receive a commission or incentive for recommending certain products or retailers.
Can HOMEBODY set me up with a painter / cabinetmaker / drywall company, etc?
